Kerala defeat Corona Virus?

The world is now going through a hard situation because of a deadly virus named Corona (COVID-19). It is difficult to predict how many people are affected all over the world, but more than 100,000 people are affected the virus attack (Worldmeters.info). There is no medicine discovered yet so far. Compared to other countries, the virus attack in India is lower. But there was some cases in the South Indian state named Kerala. But Kerala government efficiently handled this critical situation and they successfully recovered from this critical situation.

How they handle the situation?

In Kerala, the state has developed and solid infrastructure on their health system. Apart from the hospitals, they have;
  • Primary health centers : under the government of Kerala, it is known as the first level contact in emergency health problems
  • Asha workers : In Every ward, an Asha worker is allotted to take care of the people coming under their boundaries
  • Disha: 24*7 System to contact health related issues in emergency situations
The health minister in Kerala, K. K. Shailaja is very popular in the state and most of the people call her "Teacher Amma" since she is pro-active in working this kind of situation and taking right decisions at the right time.

This is not the first time the state managed to achieve this kind of goal, since Kerala recovered from Nipah Virus. The Minister and the health department did a lot of effort at that time and successfully recovered from the Virus attack. (Wikipedia)
